“We have so much on our plate… You help us make it happen”

One of the unfortunate casualties of a busy day is often remembering to share praise and appreciation with team members. That’s the reason the MyEmployees Team Member of the Month program is so helpful for busy leaders.

Mandy Cooper, Store Director of Target 2190, knows both sides of that first hand. She lives the busy-ness of leading thriving Target store, and she’s also grateful for the reminders that come along with using MyEmployees to help run her Selling Champion of the Month and #YouMakeTarget Team Member of the Month programs.

In a recent conversation with a member of our team, Mandy shares her experience with the email reminders and how it helps her focus on getting her day-to-day job duties done, while never neglecting to remember to recognize her top performing team members.

Honestly, we have so much on our plate, probably one of the biggest things we struggle with is the recognition program. And so, with you… even something just as simple as sending an email.

I know you typically do a pre-end of the month email, and then you’ll do a “Hey, it’s the end of the month! Who’s your team member?”

That really helps us out because I’ve got 999,000 things going on at any given time.

Just that consistent email you send reminds me, “Hey, it’s time to recognize a team member!” and makes this happen.
