Brandon, one of our engagement coaches, was recently checking in with clients to see how they’re holding up during the crisis caused by COVID-19.
Just like millions of American workers right now, Rebecca (general manager at Chili’s Grill & Bar in Longmont, CO) says her team is figuring out “a new norm” and how to get their restaurant adjusted.
Rebecca says her team has stepped up in February and March to help each other get through the challenges they’re experiencing. Right now, Rebecca is focused on how she and her team will continue to adapt to the new environment of takeout and to-go orders only, and she still wants to make sure that the hard work and dedication of her team members are recognized.
While many people are understandably distraught and panicked during this crisis, Rebecca is optimistic that her team will get through this. She’s concentrating on what’s within her control, and that includes staying positive and giving appreciation to her team members for their added effort.
