What does an Account Executive do?

This is an inside phone sales position. You must be comfortable making 125-150 outbound calls per day in order to be successful. You’ll call prospects all over the United States, but all of your work is done out of our Wilmington or Castle Hayne office, so there is no travel. Your office hours are M-F 8:30-5, so there are no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and follow up emails
  • Identify the Decision Maker at each location
  • Speak with that Decision Maker
  • Generate and gauge interest to sample or not
  • Understand the needs and requirements by asking qualifying questions
  • Pitch appropriate solutions based on the prospect’s needs
  • Ask Decision Maker to buy
  • Close the sale
  • Achieve monthly quotas

Requirements

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Positive Attitude is a must

Pay & Benefits

The Account Executive is an hourly + commission sales position, and a great way to join the MyEmployees family. You’ll earn $15/hr + 15% commission on all sales.

You’ll get a full benefits package, including health, and 401k. Beyond that, you have the chance to earn daily & quarterly cash bonuses, quarterly and annual paid company trips, and regular employee appreciation events.
